Malaria No More
Fueling the Fight
Digital Magazine Concept

a bold new concept in communications devoted to the worldwide Malaria fight

The battle against Malaria is in many ways, a communications issue. Malaria eradication has been hampered by uninventive advocacy communications and stale, scientifically dense governmental memoranda for decades. We worked with Malaria No More to create new ways to more effectively bridge the on-the-ground fight against Malaria with the policy makers and the public, in both Europe and North America.

We began by working with the leadership team to clarify the Malaria No More brand into a simpler, more compelling story and developing brand maxims and an outwardly facing communications format. We then conceived and developed a bold new concept in communications for the World Health sector: a beautifully designed, multi-media online magazine devoted to the worldwide Malaria fight. The antithesis of dry, dense world health reports, the highly engaging concept combines photography, illustration, copy, film and virtual reality to cover every aspect of societies affected by malaria through a tone that is urgent, candid, informed yet informal. The project merges science with sports, music, culture, politics, economics and beyond. Each issue combines the best in design, illustration and film craft and copy while highlighting artists from developing regions affected by malaria.
