The main titles break in to the show to lay bare the main characters’ warped internal world view; the fanatic desperation, arrogance, and willingness to do anything for the cause. Historical photography and film expose the ghosts in a collision of people and places gone mad with conspiratorial ideology, male hubris, and crimes committed in the name of patriotism…but that was a long time ago.
