THE FIRST TIME AMERICA HEARD ITSELF- A MUSICAL HISTORY OF THE FIRST ELECTRICAL RECORDING SYSTEM AND THE DEMOCRATIZATION OF MUSIC

We partnered with the creators of the BBC/PBS series American Epic on a large set of creative materials, including the writing, direction and editing of several teaser/trailers, creative consultation for the series, and direction, design, and copywriting of television partnership, sponsorship and promotional work. The series was nominated for Outstanding Music Direction by The Emmy Awards, 2017.  The series features Alabama Shakes, Beck, Los Lobos, Nas, Raphael Saadiq, Taj Majal, Jack White, Elton John, Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard among many others.
